Scale
Sugar Cookie Truffles:
- 2 cups sugar cookies, finely crushed (about 12 cookies)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Coating and Decoration:
- 8 oz white chocolate or white candy coating
- Sprinkles for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Truffle Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed sugar cookies, cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Mix until a thick, dough-like consistency forms.
- Shape the Truffles: Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
- Coat with Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, coating fully, and place back on the parchment.
- Decorate: Add sprinkles on top of the truffles if desired before the coating sets. Allow the truffles to harden completely before serving.
Notes
- Use soft sugar cookies for easy blending.
- Truffles can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to a month.
- Experiment with milk or dark chocolate coatings for variety.
