Description

A refreshing and nutrient-packed green juice combining kale, spinach, cucumber, green apple, pineapple, lemon, and ginger. This vibrant drink is perfect for a healthy boost, hydrating and energizing you with natural sweetness and zesty flavors. Ideal for cleansing or as a revitalizing beverage any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

Vegetables and Greens

  • 2 cups Kale, chopped (Packed with nutrients and robust flavor)
  • 1 cup Spinach, packed (Adds mild sweetness)
  • 1 medium Cucumber, peeled and chopped (Provides refreshing crunch)

Fruits

  • 1 medium Green apple, cored and chopped (Adds natural sweetness)
  • 1 cup Pineapple, chopped (Fresh is preferred for juiciness)
  • 1 whole Lemon, juiced (Enhances flavor with acidity)

Other Ingredients

  • 1 inch Ginger, peeled (Adds warming spice)
  • 1 handful Mint leaves, optional (For a refreshing aroma)
  • 1-2 cups Water, as needed (To adjust consistency)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash all fresh produce under cold water thoroughly. Remove tough stems from the kale and spinach, then chop them into manageable pieces. Peel the cucumber and ginger. Core and chop the green apple. If using fresh pineapple, cut it into chunks.
  2. Combine Ingredients: If using a juicer, alternate feeding the greens and fruits through the chute to extract juice. If using a blender, place all the chopped ingredients into the blender pitcher and add 1 cup of water to help with blending.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds or until the mixture is completely smooth. Add more water gradually if the mixture is too thick to reach your preferred consistency.
  4. Strain Juice: For a smoother texture, strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher. Use a spoon or spatula to press down the pulp to extract as much juice as possible.
  5. Add Lemon and Ginger: Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and grated ginger to enhance flavor and add a zesty kick. Adjust sweetness by adding more apple or pineapple if desired.
  6. Serve: Pour the green juice into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or a slice of lemon for extra aroma and visual appeal. Serve immediately for maximum freshness.

Notes

  • Use fresh, organic produce for the best flavor and highest nutrient content.
  • Adjust water quantity based on your preferred juice thickness.
  • Mint leaves are optional but add a lovely refreshing aroma.
  • For a stronger ginger flavor, increase the amount or add ginger juice.
  • This juice is best consumed immediately but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • To keep the juice from oxidizing and losing nutrients, consider adding a pinch of lemon juice if storing.
