Description

This creamy and flavorful Pimento Cheese Spread is a classic Southern favorite that’s perfect for parties, gatherings, or just snacking. Made with a blend of sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, tangy diced pimentos, and a hint of spice, this spread is versatile and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese Spread:

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimentos (drained)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, mix cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and pimentos. Add mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir until creamy.
  2. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Serve: Serve chilled with crackers, veggies, or as a spread.

Notes

  • For a smoother spread, blend ingredients in a food processor.
  • Substitute cream cheese for a richer texture or add jalapeños for extra heat.
