These Philly Cheese Steak Burgers combine the flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich with juicy burger patties, gooey cheese, and savory sautéed vegetables, all piled high on a toasted bun. A delicious twist on a traditional favorite!

For the Burger Patties:
- 1½ pounds ground beef (80/20)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For the Toppings:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional: mayonnaise, ketchup, or steak sauce for serving
Instructions
- Burger Patties: In a large bowl, mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Sautéed Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add onions, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cook until caramelized.
- Cooking the Patties: Grill or pan-fry patties for 4–5 minutes per side. Top with provolone cheese to melt.
- Assemble: Place the cheesy patty on a bun, top with sautéed vegetables, and add desired sauces. Serve.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add sautéed jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese.
- Ground chuck or sirloin can be used for juicier burgers.
- Pair with seasoned fries or onion rings for a delicious meal.
