Description

This Peach and Passion Fruit Smoothie Bowl is a vibrant, refreshing breakfast option packed with tropical flavors and nutritious ingredients. Featuring frozen peaches, banana, and tangy passion fruit blended with almond milk and flaxseeds, this smoothie bowl offers a creamy, naturally sweet treat topped with crunchy cacao nibs, goji berries, and shaved coconut for extra texture and health benefits.

Ingredients

Scale

Smoothie Base

  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • 1 passion fruit
  • 1 pre-frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon roasted flaxseeds
  • 2 ice cubes

Toppings (to taste)

  • Cacao nibs
  • Dried goji berries
  • Unsweetened shaved coconut
  • Flaxseeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Freeze the banana: Peel and slice a ripe banana, then place the slices into a sealed container and freeze for at least 2-3 hours or preferably overnight. If using fresh peaches instead of frozen, cut them into pieces and freeze as well.
  2. Blend the smoothie: Add the frozen peaches, frozen banana slices, the pulp from one passion fruit (cut in half and scoop out the insides), almond milk, roasted flaxseeds, and ice cubes into a blender. Blend until smooth. You may need to add a splash more almond milk depending on your blender to achieve a creamy consistency.
  3. Assemble the smoothie bowl: Pour the blended smoothie into a bowl and top with cacao nibs, dried goji berries, shaved coconut, and additional flaxseeds if desired for added texture and nutrition.

Notes

  • For best texture, ensure the banana and peaches are fully frozen before blending.
  • Add extra almond milk a little at a time to avoid a runny smoothie bowl.
  • You can customize toppings by adding nuts, seeds, or fresh fruit as preferred.
  • Using roasted flaxseeds enhances the nutty flavor but raw flaxseeds can be used as well.
  • This recipe is naturally dairy-free and can be made vegan-friendly.
