Scale
Cheese Mixture
- 1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (half of an 8-ounce package)
- 1 (3-ounce) package Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
Sausage Mixture
- 1 pound sausage
- ½ (26-ounce) jar marinara sauce
Other
- 6 flatbreads
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (remaining half)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for baking the flatbreads.
- Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well blended to create a creamy, flavorful mixture.

- Assemble Flatbreads: Lay the flatbreads on a baking sheet. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each one. Top with the sausage and marinara mixture, and then sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella on top.
- Bake: Place the assembled flatbreads in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Remove the flatbreads from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy your quick and tasty lasagna-inspired flatbreads!

- To make the dish gluten-free, use gluten-free flatbreads.
- Leftover flatbreads can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated in the oven for best texture.
