Description

This Halloween Charcuterie Board is a festive and colorful arrangement perfect for celebrating the spooky season. Featuring creamy brie, fresh black grapes, berries, citrus slices, figs, and a variety of nuts, it offers a delightful mix of flavors and textures. Easy to assemble and visually striking, it’s an ideal centerpiece for your Halloween party.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese

  • 8 ounce round of brie cheese

Fruits

  • 1/2 pound black grapes
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1 navel orange, cut into half-moon slices
  • 3 figs, halved

Meat

  • 4 ounces sliced salami

Nuts and Seeds

  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnuts
  • 1 tablespoon pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

Instructions

  1. Place the brie cheese: Position the whole round of brie cheese in one corner of a large cheese tray or cutting board as the focal point of your charcuterie board.
  2. Arrange the grapes: Break the black grapes into smaller clusters and distribute them in three spots: two clusters on either side of the brie and one cluster diagonally opposite, creating balance on the board.
  3. Create salami rivers: Fold each slice of salami in half, then into quarters. Press these folded pieces together to form two elongated ‘rivers’ of salami—one placed near the brie and the other near the grapes to add visual and textural variety.
  4. Fill with fruits and nuts: Use the blueberries, blackberries, orange slices, halved figs, pecans, almonds, hazelnuts, and pepitas to fill in the spaces on the board, creating an artful and colorful display.
  5. Add Halloween decorations: If you have Halloween-themed decorations, nestle them among the ingredients to enhance the spooky presentation and festive vibe.

Notes

  • This board is best served fresh to preserve the texture and flavor of the fruits and cheese.
  • Feel free to substitute any nuts with your favorites or avoid nuts for allergies.
  • To keep the brie soft, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before serving.
  • You can add dips like honey or fig jam on the side for extra flavor options.
  • Halloween-themed picks or small pumpkin ornaments can enhance the presentation.
