  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  3. Sear the chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2–3 minutes on each side until lightly golden but not cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Prepare the glaze: Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant. Stir in brown sugar and red pepper flakes. Cook until the sugar melts into a glaze.
  5. Bake: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning glaze over the top. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Finish and serve: Remove from the oven, spoon more sauce over the top, and garnish with parsley before serving.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, and brown sugar for 1 hour before cooking.
