Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup corn kernels, frozen or canned
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Sour cream, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced green onions for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add seasoning and veggies: Stir in taco seasoning and water. Add black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes. Cook until heated through.
- Prepare the crust: Press crescent roll dough into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust.
- Assemble: Spoon the taco mixture over the dough. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve with sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and green onions.
