Ingredients
Scale
Graham Cracker Crust
- 1 package graham crackers
- ½ cup sugar
- 6 tbsp melted butter
Brownie Layer
- 1 box brownie mix (prepared as directed on package)
Topping
- 1 package miniature marshmallows (10 oz)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease removal.
- Make Graham Cracker Crust: Crush the graham crackers finely using a food processor. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers with melted butter and sugar, mixing until the mixture holds together.
- Press Crust into Pan: Evenly press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, forming a solid base layer.
- Prepare Brownie Batter: Follow the package instructions to prepare the brownie mix. Once ready, pour the batter evenly over the graham cracker crust layer in the baking dish.
- Bake Brownies: Bake in the preheated oven for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the brownie layer is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Add Toppings and Broil: Remove the pan from the oven. Immediately sprinkle miniature marshmallows and chocolate chips over the top. Place the baking dish under the broiler for about 3 minutes or until the marshmallows turn golden brown and toasted. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
Notes
- Use parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.
- Watch the marshmallows closely while broiling as they can burn quickly.
- For extra gooey brownies, add a layer of chocolate chips inside the brownie batter as well.
- Let brownies cool slightly before cutting to maintain topping integrity.
- You can substitute mini marshmallows with marshmallow fluff for a different texture if desired.
