  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Caramel Layer:

  • 1 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
  • Additional:

  • Nonstick cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9-inch pie dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare Pie Crust: Press the pie crust into the dish and set aside.
  3. Make Brownie Batter: Melt butter in a saucepan, then stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, and fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Layer Batter: Spread half of the brownie batter in the crust, pour caramel sauce over it, and top with remaining batter. Sprinkle sea salt if desired.
