Description

This Condensed Milk Lemonade is a creamy, tangy twist on the classic lemonade, blending fresh lemon juice with sweetened condensed milk for a smooth, rich flavor. Perfectly refreshing and easy to make, this lemonade balances tartness and sweetness with an optional touch of simple syrup, served chilled with ice and garnished with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Lemonade:

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

For Serving:

  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lemons: Roll the lemons on a countertop to maximize juice extraction. Cut them in half and juice them until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. Mix the Base: In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well to mix them together, ensuring there are no lumps from the condensed milk.
  3. Add Water: Gradually add the cold water to the pitcher of lemon mixture. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined. Taste the lemonade. If you prefer a sweeter drink, mix in the additional simple syrup to your liking.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the lemonade for about 30 minutes to cool completely. Alternatively, you can serve it immediately with ice cubes for a refreshing experience.
  5. Serve: Fill tall glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled lemonade over the ice, and garnish each glass with a slice of lemon and a few mint leaves.
  6. Enjoy: Stir the drink with a straw if desired, and savor the creamy, tart flavor of your unique condensed milk lemonade!

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup according to taste.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor; bottled juice will alter the taste.
  • This lemonade is best served chilled but can also be enjoyed immediately.
  • For a fizzy version, substitute half of the water with sparkling water just before serving.
  • Store leftover lemonade refrigerated and consume within 24 hours for best freshness.
