Description

Delicious and easy-to-make BLT Wraps featuring crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, all wrapped in soft Lavish flatbread and enhanced with a tangy Greek yogurt-based sauce. Perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Bacon and Vegetables

  • 12 strips bacon (16oz package)
  • 2 cups chopped lettuce (2 romaine hearts)
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 Lavish wraps (Lavish bread)

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon. Cook bacon according to package directions until it reaches your desired crispness. Once cooked, transfer the bacon strips to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease and keep them crispy.
  2. Prepare the sauce. While the bacon is cooking, combine the plain low-fat Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and red wine vinegar in a small bowl. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Assemble the wraps. Spread a generous scoop of the prepared sauce over the center of each Lavish wrap. Layer a small handful of chopped lettuce, 2-3 slices of fresh tomato, and 3 strips of crispy bacon on top of the sauce. Carefully roll up each wrap tightly to enclose the filling. Repeat these steps for all the wraps.
  4. Serve immediately. Enjoy the BLT wraps fresh for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, consider baking the bacon in the oven instead of frying.
  • You can substitute the Lavish wraps with your favorite flatbread or tortilla.
  • Adding avocado slices can bring a creamy texture and extra nutrients.
  • Wraps are best served immediately to prevent sogginess, but can be wrapped in foil and kept in the fridge for up to a day.
