Description

This BBQ Ranch Chicken Sandwich combines tender shredded chicken tossed in barbecue sauce, creamy ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, and coleslaw on a toasted bun. Quick and flavorful, it’s a perfect weeknight meal for the whole family.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 sandwich buns (toasted)
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

For the Coleslaw:

  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons sliced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (optional)


Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with barbecue sauce until well coated.
  2. Prepare Coleslaw: In a separate small bowl, toss the coleslaw mix with ranch dressing to lightly coat.
  3. Assemble the Sandwiches: Place the bottom halves of the toasted buns on a plate. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each, then top with warm BBQ chicken. Spoon coleslaw over the chicken, add a few slices of red onion, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired. Place the top halves of the buns on and serve immediately.
