For the Coleslaw:
- 1 cup coleslaw mix
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons sliced red onion
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with barbecue sauce until well coated.
- Prepare Coleslaw: In a separate small bowl, toss the coleslaw mix with ranch dressing to lightly coat.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Place the bottom halves of the toasted buns on a plate. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each, then top with warm BBQ chicken. Spoon coleslaw over the chicken, add a few slices of red onion, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired. Place the top halves of the buns on and serve immediately.
